Turtle

Anyone heard of putting a turbo on a Subaru SVX? I thought it would be cool, i saw this SVX and i thought even if i did get one would it be worth doing, and hows the transmissions on the 92 if anyone knows, i hear thay run hot.... any metions of getting a tranny coooler? i saw one for for 89 bucks? should I get it for mine...90 acura integra 5spd.. clutch might be going...what are the signs?? im not familer with alot of it, i just drive it. Thanks

it might be wise to do some research first and then try anything... putting a turbo on a N/A is cool and relatively easy if you know what you are doing and are a handy-man. But if you arent a handy man then I'd suggest you really think about it before things start to blow up and engines start to ping. HMT is a great site for you to do research on as there are project tech write ups as well as FAQ's. Read them and if you still have more questions post them up...

I think more people would answer you question if it wasnt so vague. Please dont take this message to heart or as a discouragement from turboing your car... Its just a matter of figuring out what you want and finding a certain individual who will help you or have knowledge of what you are talking about.
