Of course a t3 is so much easier to install because of it'S standard flanges and modification possibilities.
However the t3 .48/.42 50 trim will die off at high RPM as soon as your engine makes over 200 HP. You'll see people making over 200 HP. as much as 250 HP with it, but with poor efficiency.
If you put a resonably larger compressor on this same 0.48 stage1 turbine, let's say a t3 60 trim 0.60 a/r or even a small T04, you can push it to around 250HP or so. Over that, lack of efficiency again, because of the turbine this time. 0.63 a/r is then the next step.
