Default T3 turbo question

hi guys
can you get a T3 turbo with oil and water cooling? I seem to have one in my garage i just thought id confirm i wasnt seeing things. Do i have to use the water cooling feature or can i just hook up the oil feed and return?

you can run the turbo with only oil, but running it with the water coolant will prolong the life of your turbo and as in most cases, cooler is better. the oil is there to keep friction(which causes heat) down, more than reduce heat that's there. i'd run the water if i was you. my .02

i believe most tap into the coolant running to the throttle body. usually works well being that it doesn't really matter if hot water goes to the TB or not.
