im about to buy a t3 but don't know which one to get bause theres like 6 different options u can get 50 tirm, 60 trim, and super 60 trim, wiht a .42 a/r, .62 a/r, or a .84 a/r.which combo would be the best for a d16y8, im tringy to get aournd 200-250 at about 10-15 psi.

hey bro I have the t3t4 .50 trim with a .48 a/r. I think this is an awesome turbo for 325/350 fwhp. Also my torque # are higher than a few of my friends running the sc61 due to smaller A'R. At 11psi on a stock GSR block, I hit 301 fwhp and 236 pds of trq....impressive if you ask me. Although I am planning to up my boost to over 1 bar so I will be upgrading to an sc34 or sc61, have not decided yet.

If you just want 200/250 whp than I would say this is your turbo all day long.

 

get a .63/.60 super 60

that way if you ever go b-series you can use the same turbo

 

what would spool up time be wiht that?

 

it would depend on a lot of diff factors. ex/DP size, mani design, etc.
on a D i would expect around 3500. and def wont fall off up top
