Default t25 wastegate actuator psi set at what?

I read in the FAQ that The DSM Stock wastegate actuator is set at 8psi. Factory controlled is around 11-12psi, so my question is, is that all DSM turbos. I have a t25 and wasn't sure if i wanted to put in on my civic because i heard it opened at 11 psi. Also, is the wastegate actuator the same for the 14b as the t25?

I'm pretty sure it opens at 8. I'll be using a T25 on my project as well.

12 isnt good for me, Maybe a MBC to turn it down would work.

mbc will turn it up, not down. lengthen the actuator arm or run a carb spring, both methods have how-to's in the FAQ

I guess I'll just have to put it on and try it out, and make adjustments accordingly.

I thought some MBC's could turn it either up or down?

no I don't think so, at least that's what a company that sells MBC told me. I've heard that they just turn the boost up, because it's already set at a certain psi.

Ditto here. Actually when I put my first 14b (it died) on it boosted 8-10... then i replaced it and it boosted 11-12 !!! Just goes to show how much those gimp-*** actuators can vary.

thats exactly why im buying an air pump that reads lower values. I'm sure i can find some sort of little pump that shows it by 2psi increments....
