BUt i'd not only have to buy a new turbo, I'd need a new manifold, and a new charge pipe and downpipe. so it would all apx. eqaul out.

regardless I don't think i'll be upgrading the turboany time soon anyway

i'm absolutely positive the manifold flange is the same, the DP flange i'm %95 sure of too.

To my knowledge theyre both the same. As well as fittings. You sure you guys arent thinking about Garret t25's right? lol

they are the same as far as I can tell, except the compressor side faces a different way (the T25 faces outward while the 14b follows the nautilis formation) and the compressor side is also flanged to the chargepipe on the 14b rather then having a coupler.

yea im pretty sure the flanges are the same and the oil lines are the same. just the cold side of the turbo which is different.

I'll tell ya right now, if you are going to be "Upgrading" your turbo, and want something bigger with more of a performance aspect, save yourself the time and money and just switch out or modify your manifold to a T3. Hybrid T3/T4 turbos are way cheaper than Modified 16g/t28 dsm turbos. And in the long run you will be happier.
