Default T0486 on D16???

Ok the story is I have a 89 CRX si that will only be for drag racing, for now the internals on the D16 all stay stock so my boost limit is about 7PSI. I have a turbo and don't know if it will work (I know its not perfect but more boost and money will find its way to the car later) the part number is T0486, the turbine housing is stamped .84 A/R the exducer is about 2.5 inches minor and 2.875 major diameter, its a split scroll. The compressor is .72 trim, 2 inch minor diameter and 2.75 major diameter, I can't determine the housing A/R but it is around the .6 range I think. (not perfectly round too hard to measure)
The manifold will be either cast ebay if I can get the right flange or welded tube homebuilt if I can't, probably a 3 inch straight exaust out the fender.
Will this work or am I letting myself in for more headache than its worth?

yep.

Lol but really, it should be fine, buy the cast manifold, and dont skimp on the EMS. You have PLENTY of cheap options out there for hondas so you have no excuse to do an fmu setup.

Definitly proper engine management, I actually plan to do all the fuel system upgrades before the turbo goes on. That way I can install the larger injectors and pump and get a baseline map before I blow things up.

your seriously going to waste your money on a drag race only crx that wont even get into the 14 sec range? thats pretty dumbe. get a way smaller turbo and an ebay cast mani and you will have enough power to blow the engine
