hmm... it was very very weak at redline at 8psi. I was thinking the little turbo just chokes the engine up there.

no it doesnt choke the enigne, the exhaust maybe but not the turbo, they are efficient i believe to like 14psi and you have a d16 not a k24 that turbo should work fine on ure engine at 10psi

+1 that turbo should pull all the way till redline. did you forget it was designed for a 2.0L.

probably a few things causing slow times but w/ an 89mph trap speed it is dieing on top end
