I can't believe no one has asked this yet, but why the f@ck did you drive around for 2 weeks before reconnecting your charge pipes?? Didn't you notice you had a boost leak??

You didn't notice that he's actually two weeks ahead of all of us? It blew off two weeks ago...drove around for two weeks which would bring him to right now and then two weeks from now he finally connected it back up. I think it's cause you haven't actually connected it back up since that would be two weeks from right now. But seriously, why did you drive around for soo long with it unconnected? You just sound like an idiot from what you posted so far. Maybe you should stick to a bicycle or get a bus pass.

i dont know whats wrong with this stillnoturbo idiot, and his back to the future fetish...
Im not from USA, im from holland and my english isnt so good...
this is a forum where people can post their problems, and people post solutions,
so far your "funny talk" didnt helped us at all

I didnt reconnected the chargepipes because i pimply didnt had the time for it, and it was raining all the time, and when i got home it was already dark outside.

i think the problem is indeed the BOV, today i tested another 1, and this 1 does open at idle. mine doesnt. i think a rubber ring is stopping the bov from opening. if i push the valve a little bit it opens.

the bov doesnt show signs of cracks

"In" or "Under"? If it was "In", that was the diaphragm. A BOV with a bad diaphragm will lead to compressor surge, as described...

BTW if you did have compressor surge, thats as bad or worse than overspinning the turbo, which probably happened too if you beat on your car with the charge pipe disconnected. Surge basicly makes the shaft bounce around, and can dig into the bearings & ruin any dynamic seals in the turbo.

it was the Rubber thing INside. it is fixed. there is no surge anymore, and the BOV opens at idle.
i only had surge for a few days, but didnt drive the car. so there isnt any danger.
the disconnected chargpipe was more dangerous. i drove it aroud for 2 weeks. but i drove like a grandpa. mayby 1 time i had to hurry to work :P
