letting the line dump into the atmostphere would defeat the purpose, you have to have some sort of vaccum going through the catch can or it will not draw the postive charge. am i right?

 

ya but i drilled out the pcv valve so it should serve perpose of dumping positive crankcase pressure either way, but like nchatch said maybe its sucking too much so i pulled the pvc side tube of the catchcan for now

 

From what i've read you can leave it with a breather. it's not as preferable as having a vaccuum, but better than no can at all.

wow i almost had a scare there thinking that i was drawing to much vacume with my preturbo intake slash cut method. well i guess some one over at HT actually does know something. lol
