is it cool to throw in the evo pump on my stock ls motor or will i have problems with my stock fpr? cause im bored today but i wont have all my parts collected for another week or 2

ya i have alot of simple questions, never had to mess with the fuel system on my other setups besides injectors

when i re wire it will i have to do anything for my stock fuel pressure?

Yeah buddy its cool. I never ---- with the stock fuel pressure. Now injectors are a different story. Seafoam the bitch before you install the new pump and put in the new injectors, as long as your ecu is set for 450s or whateveer you have.. (well new, used 450's that is. THat way it can clean those. I wouldent want the seafoam touching the new pump though. No particular reason, just because it absolutely doesent need it. Again unless its a used pump, which a evo 8 pump isnt very old if used. Did you kinda get what I said? Just rambling off the top of my head. If it doesent make sense what I said anyone than please step in and correct me.

I ran my stock civic fuel pump on my boosted z6 at 10lbs and never had a problem. I only had it for around 2.5-3 months though so I dunno if it would've lasted forever or not...probably not. Sorry to thread jack too but do you guys think that a B16 at 7lbs would be ok for the stock fuel pump? It'll be on a little ass turbo so it wouldn't make to much power...I dunno though

Just throw it in for now on the stock wiring, you should be fine. Only problem that could arrise is if it over runs the stock FPR, and if that happens it'll be mainly just your idle that will be affected for the most part. I don't know what the limits are on the stock honda FPR's, but I doubt an evo pump would over run it. You may even get away with the stock wiring if you're only looking for 240hp. If you need some help putting it in, you know where I live! I've never done it on a civic, but done it in DSM's a bit. I can also help you rewire it if you decide to someday. The relay and wiring should be readily available at Radio Shack or AEI.
