I'm just asking what is the most power is that anyone ever put to a b series clutch for ANY amout of time....and had it get to the end of the track at least once without slipping that is...it really is a pointless question..there is no real use for the answer...I'm just curious.

Are you just guessing your making that kind of power or are you certain you are? 265whp your maxing out those injectors

I was making over 300whp on a stock gsr clutch, but I was using a act xtreme pp.

stock clutches suck, my brothers old 86 prelude had about 1k on a oem clutch and it died in a weak from a 175 shot of n20.... good times

Yes, I am guessing, but I've got to be pretty close...I can acually watch the injectors max out on my A/F while I'm boosting...that's why I getting into Uberdata and some 550's VERY soon. I'm kind of afraid to drive it until I get some bigger squirties, it's just too dangerous. I'll just take it really easy till I get the rest of my new ECU & fuel setup...BTW comparing a '86 prelude clutch to a B series clutch isn't even fair to the poor prelude...it's only rated at like 60% of the clamp load of a B series (stock)...and, like they said, how you drive it makes ALOT of difference. PS. Thanks Jeff for acually answering my REAL question.

I mean, I really beat the ---- out of mine for a complete summer. It was on my crvtec turbo, then it went into several other engines that I did, even the twin turbo ls/vtec. Suprisinly the stock GSR disc only slipped one time and it was at the track after several 8000rpm launchs. I think the only reason it ever held was because of the ACT extreme Pressure plate, Even that thing was beat pretty bad when I got it. Overall I was pretty impressed with it, I'd suggest a ACT XT/SS clutch setup for people who have around 350whp and beat the crap out of their clutch.

No, seriously, I wasn't being sarcastic...you were the only one in this thread that acually answered my question.....It sounds like the B series clutch is pretty tough, I guess I'll leave it and see what happens...(not htat I was going to mess with it until it fails anyway)
