boost... whenever i would shift i would NOT be under boost anymore... i'd have to wait for it to spool up.. thats how it was slow as hell.. that or maybe my friends crx si with I/E can beat the all-mighty .60/.63 T3 also i was dead even with my friends 94 camaro z28 from a 30 roll and this was at 4 psi on the probe turbo..

and no when i raced him with the probe turbo he said i kept up damn well.... sorry boost maybe i had a different experience..i know the bigger turbo will make more power but the power used in the rpm band at which i shift at did not make it faster... maybe more peak hp and tq #'s but the probe turbo has a better hp and tq chart over the power band...
whats faster civic with stock hp and tq #'s from 0 - 5499rpm then shoots up from 5500-6500 OR:
civic stock hp and tq #'s from 0 - 2000? and shoots up from 2000 - 5500 rpms??

Something was wrong with your turbo or your motor or your charge pipes or something if it wasn't spooling until after 5500. You even said your wastegate was probably fucked up.
Look at a flow chart of the two turbos. That will tell you it's all in your head and there was something wrong with your setup if it wasn't faster. That little magical Probe turbo poops out and does nothing but push hot air above 5000.
Oh well, you're not going to believe anything I say eben though it's the truth so I'm done trying to change your mind. I'm going to ------ the word that smaller turbos make cars faster. :P

i remember making a post about that .60/.63 t3 turbo and why it spooled so late... i believe i had 2 posts that said yes its at full boost around 5500...... so thats when i got rid of that turbo
