What up. I'm Deja Vu oldest member of Uptown (group formerly called A.I.(admissiible intuition)). I've been idle for a minute, but lately I been feelin' this urge to lick my shots off at these devils man, devils that put me down, deem my a punk or thug, tell me my judgement will be hell. I'm from Brooklyn, so I'ma stay reppin my hood. I'm 20 years old and I'm street so my lyricals is street, so expect no less (i been through da strain). Shout-out to Commissary, Lil' Temp, MicFloW, Young Eazy we all young black men tryin to survive while lettin' our lights shine, keepin' the faith so no man can tell us "no". Why this name?
My personal meanin' to it is heaven. That's the place God's preparing for us, and dat Uptown gone be da spot, you feel me. freestylin on da cornaz and all dat. LOL

Do you play live?
I perform live fa sho. I've performed at church, SDA youth conference federation, MLK celebration (community thing). Yo it's live fa real son, heart starts pumpin' fast, to late to be nervous cuz you already on stage, everyone watchin expectin' you to flop, but you know how we do.......BLAM!!!........lick shots.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yo, its all bout bein' known. You can't sell ya CD on the cornaz no moe. Technology so use it up till Y3k hits, word up. "Think Business"

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I enjoy being rouge and independant vigilante sytle, but in order to ------ my Lords message through the main stream and currupt the "fake smiles, lies, false liberations, Bush, and alll the crap shown on the vision system I call the Matrix", why not

Band History:
I came up with the idea. Young Eazy and myself (Deja Vu) where the original members, but he wasn't that serious at the time. So I put out the idea to other young men at my church and they wanted a peice. Commisary and I collabed and our first song "It's Jesus" ignited a flame. Temp was next then we recuited MicFloW. We all been boys since elementry, nah mean, so it's like instant cemistry.

Your influences?
Yo, the hood. The hypocrites in church. Fake thugz. Corny wars for oil. Rasism. Crime. "MY LIFE" (I've seen it all man)

Favorite spot?
Brooklyn, NYC my birth place my natural home. (I hate Florida my mommy made me move when I was young , but all happens for a reason).
