I'm no expert, but shouldn't you repair the body before you paint it?

yah boost is right, if you can fix the dink on the hood do so, fill up the H bagde holes and the water nosseles (if your not using them) with some bondo for a cleaner look.....accually i think its more then the hood, i cant tell

nozzles are going back in, badge is mia, dent was from a 5 lb rock on the interstate

Yeah that was my thinking, I've only done the hood for now because it had cancer like crazy plan on doing the rest of the car in time. I figure by the time the huge dent starts to bother me I'll have replaced it with carbon fiber anyways. Just a dd beater with 1500 miles on my A6 for 40+ mpg every day!!

when painting: dont rush! take your time and coat evenly.

or else it looks like "sexy tiger stripes" which to telly a truth, are not sexy
