Default spraying on vitara

I have a vitara built d16a6 on15psi. My dx tranny is long as ---- and gives me boost lag. I was woundering how safe/risky would it be to spay a small shot(35,50) with a pressure cut-off swicth so it won't spary after 8psi to get rid of the lag. I do understand that i don't have forge pistons, but i think the low comp. compensates for it. please giv me so input

seen a few set ups on another site that had low boost and a zex kit and everything held fine.. but they were no on stock rods. i think thats gonna be a problem before the vitaras.

the rods are forged so im pretty sure they're outlast the vitaras. the only thing is im on high boost (14psi min.) so i wouner how the spray would effect boost.(spikes, boostcreep, spool time.) and at high boost would i need to go higher octane, or even retune.
