Default Spraying the intercooler

Any of you guys have your windshield washer lines tapped to run and spray onto your intercooler and/or radiator? Think it helps very much?
My idea was to have a 10lb Co2 tank (filled with co2 :1) with a line run to the intercooler, could even make a circle with copper tubing with holes drilled in it to spray the intercooler evenly (like the nx or nos intercooler sprayer has. It wouldn't have to complicated at all, just put a ball valve in the line where you can reach in inside the car, and spray your intercooler with freezing cold Co2 before you line up at the tree. Wurd?? I thought its was HMT style so I thought i'd share. Hell half you guys probably already do this. But it would be cheap to do, the most expensive part would be the 10lb tank ($50?)<maybe even a bigger tank> and all the rest you could get from Value or Home Depot. Co2 is def way cheaper than spraying your intercooler w/nitrous I would imagine. I got the idea from seeing the Getaway in Stockholm videos where they spray the escort's intercooler with a fire extinguisher before it made its runs at the end. Holla back doods, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do this once my car is wheezing through a turbo-- unless there is something retarded about my idea. Just tell me. Man I write a lot of ----.

I totally agree that it should help you with your intake air temp/power, but I'm not sure if you could tune for that drastic of a change? Wouldnt want to get a bunch of dense air and go lean

Wouldn't the ecu compensate for the cooler intake charger through the air intake temp sensor -- even if you were running uberdata? Or am I misunderstanding you? Or am i wetawded?

No your right, I've just never had my IAT's drop (not sure of the degree) im guessing 20-30deg Instantly, that could have a bad effect, if not then yes it would be great, Just trying to throw in some constuctive critisism. C02 is cold as as ----, and if it works then it would be better than an intercooler hehe, but either way good luck!

Thats the beauty of tuning, you "tune" the car. If you have a colder (denser) air mixture coming in, you might want to richen the map up a little. But its not going to be a drastic difference.
