spark plugs

Re:spark plugs
ok with a little research i found out what the N means,
"The 'N' refers to the 'special' ground electrode. 'Special' can mean a number of things but in this case it's a specially strengthened ground electrode. BKR7E-11 will work ok but the ground electrode may be subject to rapid wear, it could possibly break. NGK don't currently manufacture a BKR7E-N-11"
So i not sure weather to use these plugs now, what do you all reckon?

Re:spark plugs
i dont think it will make a big difference or mess up anything...i could be wrong. but even turbohf said those were the ones he was using on i'm guessing a b16.....so it should work out good. like i said in my above post, i used the bcpr6e-11 and now i'm going to get the bcpr7es-11..which shouldnt do anything to the performance of the vehicle. i really dont think its something to worry about,..but i could be wrong

Re:spark plugs
Here were i live, I couldnt find any NGK bcpr7es-11, but I could special order them for a whopping $5.99/sparkplug. So they did a cross reference and I found some SplitFire for 3.99, anybody has ever used these before? Are they any good? Thanx

Re:spark plugs
BKR7E-N-11 does not exist. Only the 6's (or 5's)with the special "N".
Monarch Products is a pretty good source for "hard to find" NGK spark plugs. They're not in the UK though...

You notice if you search for plugs for the 2nd gen. B16A (a-la the US Del Sol) that one spark plug choice is the BKR6E-11. Those without the "N" are available in a 7 heat range. To me, this indicates that the "special side electrode" isn't necessary after all.
