im going to the track tomorrow and i want to get good times, i have t3 turbo on my b16a2, think i can rev to 9 grand.

 

remember over spinning the turbo is bad.'

u will have to check out and calculate it on your turbo map to find out.

 

hey, how many pounds are u running right now?? have u dyno it?? what kind of fuel management u have?? my friend is doing the same to his si so ur info will be great

 

if its a stock block....8200-8500 thats just what i would do since im a ----- and i would rather run a tenth of a second slower and not have to replace my motor because i blew it up. sometimes you are better safe than sorry

 

agreed if its a small t3 theres no point you run out of power and efficiency. id rather short shift in the meat of the turbo efficiency range

 

im using and FMU and running 6.5 PSI and i've had the car boosted for about a year.

 

i wouldn't rev higher than the factory rev limit unless you have upgraded valvetrain. you have a rev limiter for a reason

 

Yeah I agree, just shift right before the factory rev-limit.

 

Or just shift right before the turbo dies out
