cool, because that's the one i have, but it is a blow off valve. it's not this air bypass valve! the one i have releases pressure from the turbo when the throttle is closed and it can be rerouted back into the turbo, but its still a bov. just because it routes the air back into the turbo doesnt mean that its not a bov. trust me. my roommate has a greddy type s blow off valve and that too redirects the air into the turbo. They sure dont call it greddy type s ABV. I think you might be confusing something along the line, but it is a bov. and my roommates greddy type s sounds good even when its rerouted back into the turbo.When its vented to atmosphere, it sounds like a bus or diesel truck when they blow off only much much cleaner. anyways thanks for the posts guys.

 

I think all this stuff about "air bypass valves" may be talk about compressor bypass valves. The 2g DSM's have these and they work, but very well.
