I wish I would have known someone needed a stock z6 manifold.I just pitched one.

I have similar goals as you and im going with the skunk2 +62mm holley throttle body.I went with the skunk2 because even thought alot of people say the edelbrock is better, alot of the better z6 setups I can find to base anything of off that have dynos charts are using the skunk2 manifold for 400+ or the stock manifold at around 400 or slightly under,jfk78 for one who was the first in the 10's with his vitara build, dynoed 442 whp and actualy has a before and after dyno charts using the same manifold an same size t/b.

Not that I expect gains of anything near what he saw,but it was 80 dollars for the manifold and 60 for the throttle body. This is a simple build and I just wanted to go with something proven. If money wasn't an issue and I felt like pouring money into an sohc I would be looking at ge or venom.

The skank 2 is cdm junk if you go on d-series there are people that have lost power with it. The Edelbrock is great I got mine for 150 shipped new. If I had not found it for that price I would have gone with a blox one. BTW Chris sells them and also has 70mm TB at good prices.

Link? Im on there every other day at least and I have never seen any one that posted dyno sheets loosing hp

edit:

Unless you count some of the retarded N/A guys who think your going to stick a bigger intake manifold, bigger t/b on a stock head & stock cam & stock tune d16/mini me/whatever is going to make power :1 Like this kid
http://www.d-series.org/forums/showt...ntake+manifold

sticks an s2k pro series and 68mm tb with a short ram on a N/A d16 and wonders why it doesn't make power in the low rpms anymore

I've always thought everything blox makes is a skunk2 copy.Look at the camber kits, cams, wheel studs, shift **** etc etc etc.The blox is suppose to just be a copy of the older skunk2 manifolds not the pro series.I was actually going to buy a blox since they are 169 new from prostreetonline and even less new on ebay, but I got a deal on this for 80.

edit I looked at that picture better and it proved my point.Thats an older s2k manifold, not the pro series the pro series looks slightly diffrent.but that looks exactly like the older skunk2 you showed
