even if the shaft wouldn't have broke, it would at best have been bent and turbo would have failed for some reason.
guys are right, you can have it done locally as well but god damn, believe me guys! no such thing as a Home made rebuild!!! I'm not saying that to gain business! just to help you making your HMT project right the first time!
That looks like a stage 1 ½ turbine wheel that was in decent shape! those are worth gold ! They are rare! i have a hard time keeping some in inventory. But i do
by trying to do it yourself, you just soaked enough money to pay for a complete profesional, warrantied rebuild, including shipping as far as canada (it's normally NOT more expensive or long than within the USA. That is a myth. everybody knows someone who's experienced shipping problems. It happens. even within usa! )
