i bought that turbo about a year ago and i didn't get to put it on the car till about 2 months ago ,,it's t3 t04 super H ballbearing however i didn't connect the turbo to the intake side due to lack of intercooler ,boost controller and deployment so everything was installed except for the piping to the tb and yesterday i heard wierd noise comin' from the turbo today i took it out and found out that the compressor wheel is not moving with turbine wheel due to the broken shaft what the hell what caused that i have no idea!!!! IS THERE ANYWAY TO SAVE THAT TURBO WELD IT OR SOMETHNIG i'm not willin' to pay another grand for a turbo i'm selling the car soon so i need a cheap fix if anybody has any suggestions please posttt thnx

 

um, know that it is realy bad for you turbo to run it without it being attached to the intake system , looks like it time to buy another turbo, our source another shaft

 

Wait. So you have enough money for a $1200 turbo, but not for an intercooler? What did you do, just leave that part of the turbo open?

no i didn't have enough time to complete the setup due to deployments like i said so i had no choice... and how is leaving the intake side open bad for the turbo? and i didn't buy my turbo for 1200 that's what it retails for

 

and by the way the car is being traded in

no pressure build up = no boost= no way for the ------- wastegate to open = one over worked turbo

 

my actuator was open all the time
