Default Small poof of white smoke?

My friend driving behind me today said when I steped on my engine, there was a tiny poof of white smoke from the exhaust and then it seemed fine. Anyone know what this may be? Hopefully not the rings The car is driving great otherwise.

the seals on my turbo took a ----, and i was getting the occasional puff of grayish white smoke. or it could be a head gasket.

If it was the head gasket, wouldnt I be getting some overheating problems?

I would think he's talking about when you shift? I think that usually has to do more with air/fuel being rich. Could be wrong, but I wouldn't worry about it until it's smoking at idle. (then you have a problem.)

ive looked at my car and it does it to when i "get on it" and leaves a smell right after for a couple of seconds. i just had my head rebuild with new valve stem seals, ets... hopefully it isnt my rings . as a matter of fact it is smoking some white smoke now and the temp. is around 70 and its raining(if that makes any diff)
