Default Slow Boost

Hey i have a TD05H with a port matched adaptor plate on an HF manifold. The turbo welded the manifold to make sure no leaks. I have a D16Z6 and this thing will not spool up quick for its life, it seems as if its starting to boost at about 3K but it wont hit 8 psi until about 6K, and it feels like its running out of air at about 5K. Im thinking my timings Retarted and thats why it feels like it running out, but im not sure if that could be the reason for the running out at top end. and a 2.5 inch downpipe. Im not sure any help is appreciated. thanks -Ben

Make sure your cat isn't clogged, and all your intercooler plumbing is nice and tight.

ensure that the wastegate actuator is keeping the wastegate flapper completely shut! and hopefully you dont have some big *** cracks around the flapper/exhaust housing. This kills spool time.

You could try it with-out the downpipe it would be pretty loud but then you'd know for sure.

What can you do if your flapper isnt closing all the way? I bent my rod inward and it pulled it up farther. But not sure if that effected anything.
