That is an Eaton M62 off a Mercedes SLK

M62 case, but is designated M63 due to the clutch setup.

Yes, the blowers have issues with the clutch. It is cheaper for MB to replace the whole blower unit rather than just the clutch, then send the blower back for servicing. $250 core the last time I checked. Tim the Stick was a teck at a Benz dealer when he tripped over the idea about 6 years ago.........

The M63 being driven backwards does INCREASE the whine quite a bit.........

I got thiis idea about 2yrs. ago when I bought a used '96 previa and bought the toyota service manuel on it and started reading it. This sc14 comes with some piping that I want to design the piping in a less restrictive way it came with a little bit to many tight bends.
