sc14 supercharger

Has any body look at a sc14 supercharger from '95-97 toyota previa. I'm looking at using the sc14 because it has a a/c clutch and an air bypass valve to air around the supercharger when not in use. It displaces 1440cc theoretically max. 1.8 pressure ratio constant and 2.0 pr instantly. This is a clockwise rotating supercharger being used on a d16z6 (rebuilt) counterclockwise rotating engine.
I'm in the process of making two brackets. One bracket will be similar to Jackson racing bracket where they hold the alternator low so but I place where there supercharger goes a pulley with a shaft coming behind it to the other side of the motor above tranney. Above tranny the supercharger, on another bracket, sits a/c clutch facing the passenger fender. The original throttle body will stillbe on the intake but without it's throttle plate because the supercharger also comes with a 65mm throttle body ahead the sc14 I have a starion intercooler to help cool the charge done already Ihave spent @ $500 usd so far.
If any body has any ideas that could help I would much aappreceiate it.

how are you going to overcome the different rotation?

Re: sc14 supercharger

Wow, I thought my setup was a PIA! I am trying to get a 1.6L Whipple charger bolted up to my '79 Porsche 924. Atleast it is rear drive and rotates in the same direction. I would really like to see some pictures when your finished. I have my drive system pretty well finished along with the actual mounting of the charger. I need to finish the plumbing now. Just ordered up some mandrel bends a few minutes ago. I know most of my original plans pretty much went to the wayside after actually getting started. You need to just dive in and fix things as you go. I spent a lot of time just staring at my engine compartment trying to plan as far ahead as I could before the next step. Good Luck!

Re: sc14 supercharger

I'm going to have the sc14 rotating the correct clockwise rotation but I'll the sc14 pulley the passenger fender with the body behind it parallel with engine.
I' looking at runnning about 1.5 : 1 pulley ratio. Since I don't have power steering this car I'm looking for a new 3 pulley harmonic dampener for my Z6 so I can use power steering pulley. If I didn't explain before clearly the plan is mount the sc14 above the tranny that way I would not have to extend the throttle cable to much. Also I'm planning also route all the piping for air into sc14 to the intercooler then into the intake on the passenger side to save space and to simplify everthing. I'm also looking at using an rpm window switch between 2k to 6k and have a hobb switch to shut sc14 at 10-12 psi. and use of a oil pressure switch if the oil pressure goes below 10psi. I'm thinking initially using a fmu or using 450cc injectors w/ injector box. The idea is I want to try keep this setup on a budget of around $1500 usd for everything including reringing engine with mains.

That is the same exact S/C that i am using. it's a great unit.

I mounted it right where my old A/C compressor was.

I hopr that the picture you are showing is not the sc14 but either a sc12 or eaton style.
Because sc14 has 6 bolt output on one side and 5 bolt on the input side with very rectangle ports.
sc12 are found on mr2 1g in the us and mr2 1g and ae101 4agze corolla's in japan, new zealand, and australlia.
