Is it safe to run 6-7 psi without an intercooler on a dohc zc. The one I have isn't going to work for me, but I want my car running now. Would it hurt it to run like that for a week or two? Also would running coolent through the turbo lower the charge temps?

 

It should be fine with no intercooler for a week. I wouldn't really beat on it too much.

The coolant might help a bit. It wouldn't hurt, that's for sure.

5psi should be fine, I don't think I'd push it to 6-7psi, the ZC flows more cfm than an A6 and it has a little higher compression.
