no but those will leak if they arent connected to a flare fitting. the flare pushes the inside against the connector and makes it watertight.

The only reason I could see that happening is if a company slacked on their hose. Yes there should be rubber inside, and it has to be of a certain tempurature rating. I use teflon/stainless, but if you really wanted to screw someone you could use the fancy looking ---- without the temp rating. Kinda like the stainless line off the back of your toilet. Not saying this happened, but it sounds fishy.

ok i supposedly got the "TEFLON" lined "SPEEDFLEX" from earls hoses...

you know, the ones for brake lines... teflon lined speedflex is the name...

so is your stainless hose inside BLACK RUBBER ---- or what??

cuz when i look inside, and if it is lined with anything at all, it's transparent.. i can see the ------- braided metal from the INSIDE, looking through the entry of the hose.

have you guys heard of www.bakerprecison.com ?

go look at the link, the diagram shows some rubber BLACK hose inside... wtf do i see braided ----

this is fucked up

read the damn link's statement

" Flex stainless steel braid - protected, extruded teflon hose that is the standard of the racing industry............... All hoses are tested to 4000 PSI"

tested my *** at 4000 PSI

it would shoot out like a fire hydrant

------- at 0 psi it drips.

whew.... good thing, the turbo i got was in very good condition, no need for rebuild...

ok so just fix up the lines and boosting we will go...

hope my oil reutnr will drain properly, it's kinda almost horizontal with the oil pan with only the 90 fitting for downward draining.
