Default routed wg less power?

was getting a little tired of open DT so i routed it back in (also makes it easier to lisen for ping)
i can see a power loss already. (base map)
i know that i have more back pressure/terbulance in the DP now
is this going to be a huge difference once the car is tuned or can i make up for it by running an extra psi of boost (planing on maxing my 450s)

was also thinking about making the dump longer and running it further back

and no its is not at a 90 to the dp maxed out my chop saw at just over 45

I've never seen a power loss, you must be dealing with a small exhaust.

If you think you can listen for pinging as a viable form of tuning you are mistaken and your ---- won't last.

when im allredy maxing out the injectors its kind of hard to (and dont say get bigger injectors, saving up for 880s or 1000s for when the vitara holset will be going in)

Then the turbo isn't maxed. Think about it.

The turbulence created from rerouting back into the DP does cost you a little hp but not a lot. I saw about a 12hp gain on a mustang dyno once I converted my 20g over to an open dump. Not a huge gain, but I won't complain about free power.

usually if you go at least 18" and angle the dumptube along the flow of the downpipe you should be fine.
power loss should nominal. you might actually gain power if your dumptube is too close to your inducer already. turbos like clean air
