I wanted to try at building one myself, I was just curious what size piping to use....I dont know anyone with one to measure, so I am kind of playing in the dark, but just thought it would give me something to do in my boring days.

it actually ends up being 1.75" outer diameter

Not cheaper for me. I'm 1 State from Mcmaster and shipping is cheap!

 

McMaster got me my T's in one day since I'm only a state away from one of their locations. When I was looking for T's on McMaster they were 12.75(304L SS 1.5" sch10) apiece compared to 8.80 through "Sellingstainless" on ebay. Thats for stainless too.

 

r u talking about a d serise or a b serise. ?

i just checked my b16 head and the exhaust ports are somthing like 1.750" X 1.220".

i got me some 2" 304 bands from our local metal shop for somthing like 7$. (2" as outer dimention.)
