I know this is an old topic... but since it's not worth it's own thread, the question was asked and so few people anywhere know about it...

Dynojet offer a 'Hub' that allows the use of additional devices. It's compatible with the PCIII, Ignition Module and can accept inputs from a pressure sensor to adjust for variable boost... It's not that a single PCIII can handle boost, but PCIII + Hub + Ignition Module + Map sensor = Boost variable fuel and ignition curves.

If you add the handle bar mounted switch, you can have dual selectable maps, one for max performance, one for driveability (or economy, or whatever). If you add the LCD, you can have up to 5 maps, all selectable on the fly, as well as displaying all the readings available on your laptop when using the PCIII CCS.

Because you buy each unit individually, it becomes a lot more expensive than a PCIII, but it all simply plugs into your stock loom without modifying anything. Hub is something like $200USD, Ignition module around $400USD... still seems cost effective to me. Prices are from memory and will vary depending on where you buy.

On my '06 Yamaha Raptor 700R I run the Moristech unit..... TONS of adjustability, and more than everything needed for boosted applications....

The Raptor has the same fuel pump as the same year R1's, not sure about ignition, but moristech should have that R1 referenced for turbos already....

Use the AEM FIC. It will work perfect. I use the fic on my 650hp NSX! You should be able to pick one up for 375 and it's half the size of a p28 pcm.

Dont go with a 14b it will fall flat on its face and boost will drop of in hight rpms. I am using a T25 of a saab for my 98 gsxr 750. I am not done with setup yet still have to finish intake and tune. I do have a sfmu was thinking of using. All the kits you can buy use them. Also have seen an fuel injector controller. I belive that is if you add an extra set of injectors in the intake. That is the safest way to tune your bike.
