Yeah, this T3 is just for mockup. I went with a T3 flange because of the wide variety of turbos.

you guys forgeth these things rev up to 10,000 rpm, even if it hit full boost at 6k hes still got plenty to go.

Good luck I own a 99 yamaha r1 turbo currently running 9psi so far I got 211hp, but my bike is carburated. You should be fine with a fmu and a inline pump just be careful with the turbo you choose (because of how high you are going to rev) and you should lower your compression, let me know if you have any ?? I being thru a lot of testing on my bike so I can help u so you don't waste money and time good luck

Actually the 06 R1 revs to a 14,500RPM redline.. :S

Lots of yamaha apex snowmobiles run turbos on the old 150 hp fuel injected engine, im sure you could find a lot more info as far as fuel management on snowmobile forums.

powercommander.. it can do ignition and fuel been used many times and is not that much money.. and plus they have the stock r1 fuel and timing maps to start with for a base :)
