T'n off your FPR for a boost reference on a FMU is not a big No No. What FMU ratio disc do you have? I got to use a FMU today on a GSR, and I just remembered how gay they are. with a 10:1 disc and only 5psi this thing was still peg *** lean, and had no pull on the top end.

A set of 450's (turboedit or even the hack) is way better than a fmu. It will make you sleep at night alot better knowning your engine is getting the fuel it needs. You may not know ---- about turboedit, but this is what you need to do. Find a OBD0 that is chipable, send it to one of these guys on the forum like leed, xerocron, street kings etc etc, get it chipped and ask for a base b16 turbo program. This will get you started, learn how to tune, go to the dyno or borrow a wideband and your good to go.

I agree. Turboedit and uberdata are very similar, and I didnt know how to use uber. I was kinda like you, a little afraid of playing with something that could possibly be more worse than good. But, I read up, and now Ive done two cars with it, that run perfect. And I am soon gonig to build my b16a with uber. This isnt stressed enough that the one point in a turbo setup that is always most important is fuel needs. Get that right, and you will never have to worry.

when i talked to xenocron he said that turbo edit doesnt work with a b16a at this point, i will pm him about it some more and see if he can chip me a ecu and set me up with a base program that will run me pretty rich and see if that helps.

On my freinds turbo si he has a fmu and a wideband and not once has his ratio dropped past 15:1

I know that every car is diffrent but i doubt the fmu will cause me to run lean if anything im afraid that its going to kill one of my injectors, My plugs where blacker than oj so i know im not running lean. I just need to find somebody that has a b16a turbo obd0 and team up with them to learn turbo edit,

ive considered trying to get a obd1 distributor and converting everything over.

i will have pics tommorow, its too late so they wont come out right if i take them now.

This week im going to get a vaccum manifold and redo the fmu and the way the vacuum is hooked up. and go from there.

Putting the cam gears back to stock made a big improvement, the car ------- rips now so im a little less discouraged about the hole thing, im getting a new downpipe made on monday i plan to pick up a vaccum block and redo that and then things should be good till i can find a cheap zdyne gold or get a turbo edit, i have a wedding coming up soon and i have to save about 3g's for our honeymoon.
