HX-35 FTW. If your on any kind of budget. but if you're really baller, then gt35r would be sick. I don't know how the volvo motors flow so I don't know where to begin on sizing a turbo for one.

Even a T3/T4 of some kind would probably be a good upgrade. The stock turbo is a td04 right?

Oh god T03 is a piece of junk!!

I had an original 13c mitsubishi which totaly blew at 15psi, then i went for a sweet T03 and it overheated even though it had a larger cooling capacity, and now i updated to a T5 which is amazing! spools really fast and there always a little something in the high end! I wish i had the funds for a gt40 that turbo is one of the nicest pieces of machined goods in existence... (drooooooling) Hx35 comes from what? is it on bearings and what is the pricing?

thanks!

We have people around here who crank up the boost and kick *** at the race track with these volvos.
Here's a special turbo I was asked to prepare for one of them. To make things worse, it was on a station wagon...

Special volvo t3/T04b H trim setup

Holy ------- Bikini Batman! Thats a sweet manifold! Is the the stock 1990+ Turbo redblock mani' or is it custom made?

How much for that turbo with the manifold it looks amazing!!!

I love to crank up the boost ridiculously on my brick, it takes everything so well never really had any problems except blowing up turbo'S!

more info on that turbo please!!!!

Wether its a wagon or a sedan, a volvo 740 is as long and as wide and high as a 740 station wagon, same goes for 850's and 940's and 960's and guess what the weight is the same :P also!!

It's a OBD0-possible OBD1 D15B2 (depends on the trim and production date) in the hatch, and it's an OBD0 D16ZC in the Integra.

200whp is easy on that setup, it's older than the internet.

HF mani + cheap turbo (DSM more than likely) + convert to MPFI, cheap injectors (DSM more than likely) + cheap intercooler + convert to OBD1 if you really want, or just chip the PM6 you have from the Integra = turbocaromgz

Stop being a ****** and start being a real man, racing female gender biased economy cars.

******.

That was a 100% stock manifold supplied by the customer, i did remanufacture it to new and spent an hour smoothing out the inside and some nice improvements can be easily made in there! THe sercret for the power gains with this turbo is the 0.63 A/R turbine and the T04B H trim, the largest t04b, supportable of amost 500 HP and has a very broad efficiency range. in order for it to remain reliable, the static seal of the stock t3 turbo is upgarded by a dynamic seal system and since people do boost in the 20+ psi on these volvos, turbo chra is equipped with 360° thrust plate, bolted down to the center section, the lack of which is probably the reason why you kept blowing turbos.

basically, since it has a stage 1 0.63 a/r turbine, this one is good for about 400 HP Max. For more power, I would switch to stage 3.
