I dont think it matters either . All the BOV is doing is bleeding off pressure to prevent the turbo from stalling under closed thottle . As for it bleeding off hot or cold air , that is redundant .

i would have to say it would matter what kind of bov you have.

Like for example if it were a Piston type (TurboXS RFL for example) then it shouldn't matter

But if you had a diaphram type (1g dsm bov for example) then i would think if you placed it on the hot side (turbo side) that it could hurt the diaphram (cracks and shizzle)

Don't take this 100% seriously this is just a thesis.

I read it is best to place the BOV 1-2 ft. from the throttle body, i forget where i read that, but i just remember reading it, and not from some bullshit site like honda-tech...

I finished installing my turbo kit this morning at 6:10AM

im dead tired and im at work right now, but what I can say is that when I pop the hood and make the engine go to 4500RPM or so, when I release it, the BOV makes a clear LOUD noise from expulsing the air from the piping....

I don't know if it's related to the fact that I put my BOV 1foot from my Turbo ...

ALL I CAN SAY IS: DAMN DUDES! IM FINALLY BOOSTED!

pics gonna be in another post today later on!
