Default Puff of Blue Smoke On Decell...

So, when I am going down a hill or coming to a stop sign/light I get a puff of blue smoke out of the tailpipe. My return line is ok, but I am going to reconfigure it this week and I do not like the 45deg fittings I have. The fittings are rather narrow at the transition so this could cause a bit of smoking, but it would smoke all of the time. This only seems to happen when decell. I just put a new turbo on the car and went for a spin around the block and hit 10# at part throttle. I set boost cut in TE to 6 so I don't go blowing up the motor so it hasnt seen above 6 or so except for a time or two when I first put the new turbo on. Any suggestions on what could be causing this. The motor never smoked a bit before this turbo. Any insight will be much appriciated.

Spec:
Stock Internal ZC
T3 .42.48
JRC FMIC
Stealthmode Oil Line kit
and thats about it on the important stuff.

Thanks
Nick

Compression is in check. PCV valve is operational. I am only having this problem under high VAC. Any Ideas?

I've had the same problem on several setups. One was the oil return was too small, so when the oil sloshed forward on decell it backed up and smoked.

The other was the turbo was on its way out. For some reason it only smoked on decell though. Replaced it and haven't seen smoke since.

my imported motor sat for a while before I installed it. It was ok for at first but slowly the blue smoke on decel got worse and worse, I ended up replacing the valve seals, a few of them were pretty rough looking, hopefully this fixes the problem. Won't know for a few weeks til I have time to finish up the car.

The same setup worked fine with my old motor I can't think of what else it could be.

Well, I am going to inspect the return line again tonight. I am running a -8 right now. I will post up once I find the culprit.

Ok, so after a barrage of tests, the only item left that could be causing this is the turbo itself. It is a down2turbo, so I contacted them stating what I have done test wise and what my setup is and I am awaiting a reply. I will post once I figure that out. I am also going to pull the chargepipes and look for any signs of oil. My understanding is if the return was clogged, kinked or otherwise not fucntionin correctly, the oil would be pushed past the seals on the compressor side and thus in the chargepipes. As far as I can tell, there is not oil in the chargepipes, but I am going to confirm for sure tonight.
