i just picked up an 86 gsxr 750 im planning on making a "naked" bike out of.... Naturally its gotta have a turbo too, more info on setting those carbs up for boost please. I searched on the intraweb with no success, just automotive carbs. I know you need solid floats and the rising rate pressure regulator, anything else you had to do?

no, you don't need solid floats. The floats will be fine. THey've been tested to 30+psi. Think of it like an Egg or submarine. Outside pressure pushing in, it can take alot of pressure. I had to lower the floats 2mm, Add two shims under the main needles, turn the air fuel mixture screws out to 3 turns, and re-size the main jets.

The fueling is pretty simple. The fuel pump circulates fuel from tank to bypass regulator, to tank. Zero pressure, just free flowing.... until you hit boost.
One pound of boost, the regulator will match it with 1 lbs of fuel pressure. Therefore, 10lbs of boost = 10 lbs of fuel pressure.

I put a greddy kit on an RX8 and the drain fitting was a banjo bolt that replaced the oil drain plug. Might be able to save some weight, complexity, and $$ going that route. Just build a little skid plate to protect the hose where it routes under the engine.

I was just thinking, instead of running a fuel pump, what about connecting a boost reference hose to the fuel tank :8

There would of course need to be some check valves n ----, but it seems like it could be easier than adding a fuel pump.

My bad I should have told you to call from my understanding its only one guy who runs the shop. Give him a call when I placed the order he shipped it out an hour later.
