Schwitzer what is your injector setup right now? Did you get a MAP sensor for the MS to reference, or...?
If you are still running that double injector setup why not just invest in some precision injectors from RC? That way you can stop tricking your car into running and start having it tuned properly.
Who ever you asked saying that the choke wasn't a restriction is smoking some hi-powered ----. Even since it's after the throttle body, at WOT the interior diameter of that pipe isn't the same as the restrictor so you have the air going from low pressure, to high pressure at the restricted opening, to low pressure (venturi) through the small diameter pipe, and out to a higher pressure again. You are losing velocity, and therefore volume. Keep in mind these pressure drops are relative and are all above 1atm.
If the car was N/A you could argue that you have a homemade velocity stack, but since it's F/I it does better to jumble up perfectly streaming airflow.
Get the whole thing portmatched.
