plans on odd HM water IC
i think about doing water intercooler such way: use 2-3 civic heater cores standing each after each other, weld a box around it and blow air from turbo throught those radiators. and run water with front mount heat exchager trought those cores. so that will be "reversed" water intercooler =) . what do yuop think, will that work?

no one locally can really say will this work or not.. so only one way to check it - doing it =)
now my civic waits new axles. as soon as i boost it i will first install "big" front mount intercooler, datalog intake temps and then install that "water intercooler". and will see will it work good enought.... =)

Re: plans on odd HM water IC
My buddy sealed a plate w/ a barbed fitting on each side of his WRX IC. He then circulated water with a boat bilge pump from a water reservoir(cooler) mounted in the trunk.
He also put in a couple tee's and valves in the return line so he route the water through a front mounted tranny cooler for everyday driving.
It worked pretty good once he got it to quit leaking.
