Pics of my first dual cam zcrx
This is the crx ive owned for a couple years now, the body just keeps getting worse but the engine keeps getting better so I keep it. Over the winter I rebuilt a zc I got off a ricer kid who "could never get it running right". It came with a light blue valvecover and timing belt cover and a whole bunch of problems including the kid cut off the intake manifold with a ------- sawzall because he couldnt get it off :1 So its got a d16a1 IM on it with a custom adapter plate to a 60mm throttle body taperd to 64mm.
So here is the rundown zc block devcon filled, oil passages worked over, .020 over d16a1 head and intake manifold, both ported and polished. head has fresh valve job and crespo springs which im still iffy on. metal headgasket srt4 arp head studs eagle rods JE pistons- 11:1 c/r in vtec motors. I did a compression check 160-160-160-160 psi six puck from lsdmotorsports turbo manifold-csaddict special, thanks man tial 38mm wg- open dump 3"downpipe to 3"kteller full exhaust with magnaflow t3/t4 54 trim turbonetics stealthmode oil lines, what else would you use? obd1 po6 running crome tuned with lm1 adjustable fpr, walboro 255, dsm 450's and the dsm bov pics! http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...82/11zcrx2.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/957082/11zcrx.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...82/11zcrx3.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...82/11zcrx4.JPG First vid ive made, more to come. 160psi is about 8:1

You said the body just keeps getting worse, so I looked at that first picture thinking, "that's not that bad..." then I saw the next ones ;D
nice setup, anything turbo is better than driving a car that looks like it should be fast but isn't. |

11:1 160 PSI? :o i think that's wrong..i remember that a guy with a little less compression to you got abuot +220 PSI or so.. ??? (i think ..)

read, it says 11:1 in VTEC motors.. not with the ZC head.

Thanks. Yea, those numbers seemed REALLY low for 11:1 c/r pistons, but the head made a HECK of a difference wow. How is that car running an OBD1 ECU? Conversion harness and a little extra motor wiring? EDIT: Your movie description says t3/t3. JP |
