where is the pvc valve at on a 97 y7. i trying to unhook the vaccun line on it .can you do that? there no emiss law in okc. so it can vent on it own.

 

its under your intake manifold..the little black box above your oil filter, also a lil to the right, if your laying under your car..you have a check valve at the other end of the vacume line..when you unplug it, the pcv valve can not open..so the gases can't escape..you need to pull the pcv valve out..
