knock sensor and oil pressure sensor questions
Sup, quick ? I was running a zdyne secu that took a ---- on me 2 weeks ago and did not have the vtec oil pressure sender or the knock sensor hooked up on my obd0 b16a because these are controlled by the SECU itself. Well I have changed my ways and picked up a moates burner and am now beginning to run turbo edit and was ?ing whether the knock sensor needs to be hooked up to the harness for my chipped pm6. i read that sohc ecus do not use the knock sensor. what to do about the vtec oil pressure sensor also wire to harness or leave off?

Re:knock sensor and oil pressure sensor questions
No, you don't need the knock sensor or the VTEC pressure signal.

Re:knock sensor and oil pressure sensor questions
no you actually wont need the wires for the secondary 02 sensor, oil pressure switch, vtec solenoid or knock sensor hooked up to your ecu at all, and it will not throw codes, the only wire you need to worry about out of all of those will be the vtec solenoid wire, which you will need to hook up to an rpm activated switch to turn on vtec....

Re:knock sensor and oil pressure sensor questions
hello xeno! I had recieved the SECU with my crx when i bought it . I Could never get the ecu to communicate with any of my computers with the binhacker software and spent alot of time on the phone with bill from zdyne. I even had the SECU sent back to zdyne to be fixed and they told me everything was fine and communicating correctly... sent it back to meh, and the ecu still wont talk to the bin hacker software and is giving me the same symptoms. I would love to get this thing fixed but zdyne wanted to charge me like $5- 600... BAH!! dropped messing with teh zdyne and am now trying turboedit
