was wondering if it was possible to make the oil feed line for my 90 civic si out of ss braided line and flare fittings? i know i can get a flare "T" and have seen flare fittins made ot go on the end of a tube at lowes was wondering if this would work using 1/4" flare fittings. anyone know?

 

dood to use flare fittings u have to use solid line such as copper or steel line....

u cant flare rubber..

i have thought about making a flare solid line because its cheap, but i thought that i should pay the money and get a SS line with the proper fittings..

what i used instead of those pricy earl fittings are hydraulic hose fittings that swivel... cut the cost of the fittings in half and was well worth it. i will let you guys know how it works and performs.
