I don't want to put my oil press sensor for my gauge on the block b/c I've hear it will break off in my block(or could happen)so..can I just use a brass fitting, some nylon 1/8 hose and clamps and run it to the firewall and then from their run my braided steel line to my turbo? sound OK?

try to avoid clamps because they can blow off, then your ---- outta luck when all the oil pisses outta your car!
