Works fine
Is there a conversion or something somewhere for what an equals in standard? -10an means about zero to me, haha.

Because if 1/2" is the minimum requirement for a dump and 1/2" hose is used in acutality the fittings have 3/8" I.D. NOT 1/2" like most think. 1/2 by 1/2 is acutally 1/2" pipe thread with 1/2" O.D. barb which has an I.D. of about 3/8". So when you use 1/2" hose, you're flowing from 3/8" openings from your fittings and thusly, smaller than 1/2".
This is the point I'm trying to settle at: 1/2" really isn't 1/2", but rather 3/8" so is this STILL an adequate oil drain size?
Oh, and for such a basic n00b style post and very little information I just want to thank those that contributed (or will). I apperciate all of your opinions and knowledgabilities.

Re: Oil Dump Sizes...
You take whatever the -an line number is (10, 12, 20, etc) and multiply that by 1/16". This gives you the OD, where the ID of some -an lines can be different. So the typical -10 line sold with the stealthmode kit is actually 5/8" OD and is therefor a bit under 1/2" ID. That being said, nobody has ever had a problem with his drain line being too small. It's typically user error if something goes wrong.

I didn't even understand his reply, haha. If you look up a few posts I responded to yours also.
My turbo sits really low on this set-up and I just want to be sure that it's going to be alright. I had a street 90* off of the turbo to a 45* in the pan very similar to this from that dude's 85 sedan:
I said it'd be fine because mine is like that also, but what do you guys think? I see NOTHING wrong with a 90* off the turbo, seems it would flow fine.

Ha, I know. I'm saying I didn't understand what HE was trying to say that's all. I saw you responded to him though, thanks. Then I was just saying I responded to you earlier in the thread. All good, ha.
