open dump pretty much works like an open exhaust once it`s opened.
DP dump routes it back to the exhaust, it does quite down, make less noise but it also mess with the flow in the exhaust

You know its funny how everyone on here says "Open dump it sounds mean as hell" but if you ask anyone over at TurboMustangs.net running big cube, big turbo, twin setups and they all say closed. I personally think especially on honda motor they sound like *** open.

Now on a RACE car its different, open definitely for that extra power but not on a street car.

dump it. definitely has been proven to make more power if done right. and who really cares how it sounds anyway, when you have the sound of a turbo spooling to go along with it

As u can see its all about personel preference and if u dont care about sound leave it open for hp but if u want it to be quiet close it up and lose a lil hp its up to you
