oil cooler sandwich adapters
are these any good ? like these ebay ones

seems like it would be easier then fucin with hard to reach block fittings for feed lines and pressure gauge, but if you had all kinds a 4 hoses n ---- hooked up to your oil filter could it cause unsafe oil pressure drop or anything?
what about using some ---- like a heater core for a oil cooler

Re: oil cooler sandwich adapters
You don't need it for a feed on a Miata 1.6- the block is already tap with an oil feed port under the exhaust manifold. This was a left over from the Mazda GTX. Same goes for a coolant source if you've got a watercooled turbo. OTOH - those do work for coolers- I've used the cheaper types on race Miatas without a problem. The HMT solution for the cooler is to use the sandwich cooler and threaded mount tube from a 1.8. Then just run coolant lines to it.
