Default Oil sandwich adapter w/ stock water cooler?

Does anyone know if a sandwich adapter (like the Golden Eagle) works with the stock water cooler? The description(s) of the product confuse me a little bit on this...

Curious if it puts the filter at a tough spot on my 95 GSR too, even if it does fit. I'd have to get under it this week and measure.

You don't have a stock water cooler, you have a stock oil cooler with water running through it. A very shitty one at that. I'd take it off.

Pardon the error in symantics.

I have considered removing it, but I'm lacking a hard pipe w/o provisions and I don't feel like looping yet another coolant hose.

---

LONG STORY SHORT, my car had a Vortech blower on it (previous owner installed) and they shoved a 1/8" NPT into the block. When I removed the blower, I pulled the shitty brass T they used and ... well a bunch of threads came out. I managed to get a fresh dummy light sensor back in and sealed while I drove it NA for a month, but I'm scared to remove it again for the turbocharger.

So I'm thinking a sandwich adapter sounds like a good idea at this point?
