Re:Noob needs an ok on turbo setup please

hey i just read turbo ef's engine management faq and i came accross this

"To compensate for this advance in timing, some of used a BTM (Boost Timing Master), retarded their static ignition timing at the distributor, or even chipped thier ECU and modified the ignition table itself"

are these the only way to compensate for the timing, are there faqs or instructions on how to properly retard timing at the dizzy????

if your looking for only 6-7psi 170whp like I am get the t25, it spools up quicker than the t3.

T3 would be better because an upgraded unit will bolt right on and he will have more choices. Chip your ECU. Do the research, you will love. My first turbo is the setup I have now and I am glad I took the time to learn Uberdata and how to chip.
